Very few individuals on the severe end of autism are able to describe what they feel like. Carly Fleischmann has severe autism and in her father's book, is the following pages that I posted. It is where Carly tells what it feels like to be her. Carly is non-verbal but is able to communicate by typing.
I have no doubt that if Trenton could tell me, he would tell me the same thing that Carly does in the following pages out of her father's book.
No doctor knows what it feels like. No doctor can really tell you how to help your child. Through my research I have learned so much more about Trenton and Andrew than any doctor could ever begin to tell me.
