Finding the Good in Everything

1 Peter 1:6-9 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
The Bible provides us with every answer that we need! Every single answer! Do we like every answer? No. God never told us we would agree with him on everything. However, it is up to us on how we respond to our answers. I truly believe that our trials in life shape our faith. It is where God wins some people and loses some people. Trials is when we see a persons real side and God test us for that...again God wins some people and then he loses some people.

In the second chapter of James we are told that faith without works is dead. Simply put, we have to "do". Actions are louder than words. Anyone can say anything but when you do you are truly telling God or whomever how you truly feel. Anyone can say anything but our actions prove to be the key that unlocks the door.

This has been a rough night. Very rough. It has actually been a very rough time all together and I am not just talking about autism.  It is hard to see some of the things that I have seen and went through and to still keep my head up but that is what I am choosing to do.  A person has to find the good in everything. If a person has an open mind and an open heart, they see Christ even in the middle of the hardest battles.
